Is it possible?

Postby JMcKibbin » Thu Dec 19, 2013 7:38 am

I apologize of this is in the wrong section, if it is please direct me. So here's the deal, I'm swapping my engine in my Corolla for a new one but my heater is not the best. Cables and lines are stiff and don't really open the necessary parts. And with me having everything apart I was considering a electronic controlled one such as out of a Lexus IS300. Would it be possible to use it with the same basic principle of the lines hook up and such.

Anything is possible with enough know how and money. Whether its practical or not is the real question. I had an older mustang with similar heater controls and I used cabling grease (for ethernet cables) to lubricate the heater core cable. It made it easier to adjust the heat, didn't cost much and I learned how to install and remove those parts.
