Hey all,

I purchased a Blacktop 20v for my AE86 hatch a few months ago. I have a distributor relocation kit and water cooling kit for it...

But the thing on my mind as my biggest concern now is the wiring. I have all the wiring for the car as well as the 20v wiring harness and ECU.

What am I looking at as my biggest speed bump in my build at this point?

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time!

Tweak'd Performance will make you a new one for $500 http://www.tweakdperformance.com/index2.html

Or you can make your own following Morgan's write up or others. http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=101899

everything is a speed bumb without the proper research prior to starting. my write-up that stalk provided will help, but theres a lot left for you to figure out.

I'm competent in reading and repairing wiring harnesses, connectors, etc... $500 dollars for what? I'm running the distributor and stock ECU... is there really much more I need? NO COP or aftermarket ECU...

My engine is in good running condition fresh from Japan... I read a lot on your write-up to prepare myself. Running SQ Engineering parts for ignition and cooling but I'm not sure what else I have to do to either the 16v or 20v harnesses before they're ready to be dropped in. Thanks for you write-up btw much appreciated.

You need to merge the 2. I've done 2 like that for friends, it takes some time, not as easy as you would hope. If you're good with wiring and diagrams you should be able to figure it out with my write-up

I understand to a degree... but the write-ups don't explain to a degree before they start showing tons of photos. For example: What do I actually have to wire myself... it's frustrating.
