Since the SR5 harness should be built for a 4AC engine with no ECU...and any kind of GT-S engine requires an ECU...I'd expect that you need the correct matching ECU, harness, and other parts like the igniter. Do they all have to be "matching" ? You won't find an answer to that, because all sort of things "work" without anyone knowing how well they work.
No idea what a vst or st is though.

Comes up as an ad on this page, apparently they make custom harnesses so maybe they'd know. But I'd expect you need "the right" matching harness to make sure something didn't blow out, or not get connected, even if it plugged in.

Not surprising. These days...the price of prime material, the time for someone to build it carefully (I don't know them, I'm just taking their ad at face value)...and the price of someone who hsa taken the time to figure it out, ah, that last one is priceless. So if they really can deliver a good custom harness, well, there aren't many other folks competing on that, are there?<G>
