new steering wheel/hub/QR, turn signals not working right.
new steering wheel/hub/QR, turn signals not working right.
I installed my Nardi Classic wheel with my Works Bell hub and Rapfix II quick release onto my hachi a few days ago. looks nice and all, but now when I turn on my signals, it doesn't pop back to the off position when exiting a turn anymore. Is this common? What did you guys do to fix this?

Re: new steering wheel/hub/QR, turn signals not working righ
Check your steering column lever switch assembly, maybe a part fell/broke off during the install. It could be the position the red ring on the switch assembly. It prolly didn't line up w/ the steering wheel hub.

Re: new steering wheel/hub/QR, turn signals not working righ
When you remove the hub there's a plastic red ring around the steering column shaft that controls the turn signal cancel feature. The red ring has has 2 pegs on it. You'll notice the hub adapter has 2 holes drilled on the mating surface where it touches the red ring on the steering column when installed. You need to make sure the 2 pegs on the red ring line up with the 2 holes on the hub adapter for the turn signal cancel feature to work.

thanks you guys, ima check that out here in a few.
i also noticed my Nardi horn will only go off if the wheel is slightly turned to the left, but not when the wheel is straight. maybe the red ring thing will fix that aswell? ill give it a shot.

Make sure none of wiring for the horn got pinched or is grounding out on something.
The nardi horns are a little trickier to get working right considering how they seat in the hub, unlike a momo or sparco horn button. You need to make sure the retention clip on the horn button (the big paper clip'ish looking thing) is making contact with the horn contact ring that goes between the steering wheel and hub (the piece that came with the hub that the horn wire connects to).

i used my dremel and shimmed down the 4 plastic pieces on the back of the Nardi horn button to make it fit.

yo Ejay, on the stock steering wheel, how does the red ring sit? do the two notches sit left and right (horizontal) or up and down? or maybe askew a little?
