Fuel cell or not?!

Postby 84Hachi17 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 6:07 pm

So I started my 84 hachi project this past November, it's gonna be a drift project nothing over the top just something to have fun in. got to stripping the car down, and blasting the bay. Now the question is if I should throw in a fuel cell or just still to the OEM fuel tank? I'm 18 been in a garage since I can remember, I've done all the work on my own and out of my pocket. (Harbor freight budget :) ) none the less I went with a 4age 20v blacktop
Soooo fuel cell or no fuel cell?? Any input will be appreciated
Thanks!

should focus funds on getting the car running and doing it right first if you're on a budget.

if gas tank is GTS, you should be fine without running a fuel cell.

If the regs require it, run one. Otherwise, what Mike said. Just keep your tank more than 1/4 full.

That's what I'm trying to do, I got the engine on a crane replacing old and worn parts, changing all gaskets and main seals.
Thanks for the input!
