took this car to a local ricer meet and actually had a decent time, I was surprised to see that there were a few cool cars there. Young Caleb and I went for a cruise afterward and hit some cool street spots out in the boonies. Feels so awesome to have this thing back home in my own garage. Here's some pics that I've seen popping up on the innertubes.

Almost had to choke some random ngas though for leaning on/touching my ****.

Went to DD49 and had a blast. Bumpers were not finished, but I put them on anyway.

So in addition to those cool pics from the drift day, I have been chipping away at some random stuff to make the car a little bit more friendly to drive around town, since I do like driving this car on the street.

My front sway bar was rubbing on my oil pan and it was making some crazy clunking noises over bumps, so I decided to remove it, also threw some fresh rotella t6 and a toyota filter before the event. also cleaned up the engine bay a bit.

This thing is a total oil hog. 6.5qt changes from the factory!]

My friend Jordan squeezed me in for an alignment as well. Made my front wheels fit worse, but the car feels amazing now.

Camber: 4.3*
Caster: 3.1*
Toe: 0

One of my buddies in CA also hooked me up with some door weather seals since mine are all dried out and cracked. I put those on today and it makes things look a lot more finished I think, plus no more sharp seams. Now I need to find one for the hatch!

After the event I removed the plastidip from my ssr's since I'm trying to sell them. Also had a chance to put my quarter window and windshield trim in.

my friend, BP and I are going to trade diffs since his fun car is still 4ag and he wants 4.77. Spent today getting my diff out. 4.3 will be much better suited for the beams/6sp.

And at the track last weekend I noticed I was having a weird oil pressure issue, I had great pressure at idle, even when really hot, but it would not rise/build with rpm, it would sometimes even drop into the high 30s at redline and the stack would give me a low pressure light. Checked out my pan and it's really smashed. Pulled it out today to diagnose and found my pickup was pressed up against the bottom of the pan. Paul with the beams mango from Canada has a spare pan and pickup that he's going to mod/shorten for me so right now the car is going to be down until I can get that from him

Lastly, I sold my Mk3 to go a different route, and I'm having a new exhaust made. Cant wait for 2015!

so no lowering subframe ... any mod to the tunnel to fit that 6speed in?
i know you modes the subframe and use the beam engine mount .... but i can't see in any of your post that how the engine is mount with the sway bar and everything in place...
can post some better picture please... I'm been thinking of doing this swap but don't want to lower crossmember/subframe or even hammer the tunnel .. i would use the shifter relocate kit tho...

the tunnel needed some minor massaging near the firewall.

sway bar needed to be spaced down a little bit in the front to fit. I ended up taking it off though because I prefer driving without it.

New pan/pickup installed. much more clearance now.

I hated the V-band connection on my exhaust, so my brother welded on a 2 bolt flange for me instead.

My old exhaust was getting on my nerves so i decided to have a new one made at a popular exhaust shop in town. I bought my own magnaflow muffler to bring in. I'm SO happy with how this turned out.

Drove it to the exhaust shop one morning open header. **** that was rowdy, car ran like total **** though because the o2 was in open air, so no chance to do anything fun.

Had new 2.5" exhaust bent up. Shits tucked up MAD tight to the car, Needed a ton of bends to make it like that, but I don't give a ****. Its awesome. muffler at the back with some random tip they found on the ground at the place that seemed to fit alright.

It still screams when you put the hammer down, but at idle and under normal driving conditions its like driving any other lightly modified car. I love it, I can drive around with a passenger and actually have a conversation now.

Your exhaust clearance is awesome, I've cut and rewelded the hangers on my buddy club and can still barely get the damn thing off the ground. Super jealous

blah. So I got rid of my shitty adjustable LCA and decided to modify a spare set of stock ones I had laying around. First had them sandblasted and the bushings and ball joints pressed out. I handed them off to satty last week to extend 30mm, gusset and press in new Whiteline bushings and Moog ball joints.

He sent me these pics last night. I think they came out amazing.

Almost look like factory. Today they should be powdercoated and have the new parts installed. Now I just need my new tension rods to come in from JP and my front will be complete again.

I realized I havent REALLY updated this in a while. I've been doing a lot.

I broke my GTS rear end and picked up an MA46 supra unit to replace it, rebuilt with 4.3 gears, welded diff, weir solid pinion spacer and all that good stuff. Converted it for use on 86 by welding some washers on to the upper links to step the holes down and made some weld-on traction brackets. Then I painted it, put it in, etc.

also picked up some TRD sxe10 motor mounts, AVO/MCNsport rear coilovers, TE72 tie rods and Cusco tension rods to replace my T3 units, and finished off the LCA's with some texture black powdercoat, whiteline bushings and new moog ball joints, these also replaced my old T3 units. Also fitted tires.
