Well since all the old club4ag is gone I'm going to repost my build thread, however not from the beginning, that would take way too long.
we'll start spring of 2011.
Car looked like this. I was a poor college kid and I spent all my money buying a fresh 4age with JDM MAP conversion since I had blown the original 4ag the previous year at a drift event.
so we put the engine in and it looked real snazzy with no AFM.
even sounded cool with the new buddy club2 that I used to replace my old rusted out HKS.

stupid map setup never wanted to work right so i had this problem.

which NO ONE seemed to have a remedy for. I never did figure it out, and I was too broke to buy another engine or something, so I sold off the MAP conversion and parked the car for another year, it had my brother's (perpetually out of service) STi for company
Fast forward to march 2012. I was about to graduate college, and it was time to finally bring my corolla back to life. I called up my good friend at Destruction Warehouse, Midwest fabrication shop and corolla specialist, and he told me to bring it on down and he would get working on it, so at least there was progress to be made.
had to dolly the car 100+ miles to DW, which was scary with the buddy club being a solid 1/2" off the ground.

Lets move along, nothing even happened in that first post.
so I bring the car to destruction warehouse get it all tucked in and comfortable, and start to go over the plans.
At that time I wanted to get the 4ag running like a good ole USDM, MAF, corn fed 4ag. I also had some pretty serious body work that needed to be tended to, as well as some minor wiring, and a cage. Fairly simple.
First thing up was the body work. Now my passenger side quarter panel at this time consisted of about 2" body filler, some cracks and some rust forming underneath. Not pretty.
So vinny started grinding all that out.
Gross, right?
So meanwhile I didnt want to think about that, so I started gathering some more "look cool" parts.
got some longchamps for the front. Not the best sizes in the world, but now I at least have the option to run matching wheels, though I more than likely wont.
and tried them on, Also visible in this picture are new clean zenki fenders, my old ones had a pretty ghetto jack handle flare, done by yours truly at a drift event to gain clearance.
also ditched my NCRCA and opted for adjustable lower control arms and some standard RCA, all from T3
so shortly after this I also decided to take the 4ag out.
also replaced my dumbo power mirrors for manual SR5 mirrors, which look much better in my opinion.
then on a whim, by some stroke of luck, this fell into my lap.
This is about where the whole idea of simple and stock left my mind.
That's also where I will leave off for tonight.

So I started cleaning up the motor, removing all the unnecessary crap, and got it up on a stand.
Popped the covers off and it looks minty on the inside. not even oil stained.

Excessive Manufacturing adapter plate and T3 stacks.
Custom harness and pretuned AEM v2 EMS
Started putting it all together.
adapter on, and fuel rail converted to run -6AN setup with return.
with throttles and stacks.
and finally with harness and all sensors in place (I also repainted the engine cover)
and that's about where the engine sits now.

It's the 2.0L BEAMS from the JDM Altezza RS200. That makes 210bhp with a 6-speed transmission, and it's all Toyota. Plus this particular one is sporting some nice ITB's, so I reckon it'll sing a pretty nice song around the track.

never said it was special, but 210whp, 2.0, titanium valvetrain w/ oversize valves STOCK, Dual VVT-i w/ Beams architecture, some blacktop throttles and an AISIN 6sp trans is much better than a shitty, barely running 16v 4ag.

and moving on.
So i finally sucked it up and bought redlines. Very happy with them.
then it was time to gather stuff for the fuel system.
first was tomei FPR and tomei gauge.
Golden eagle vacuum manifold (not really fuel related, but I got it at the same time)
An OEM denso supra turbo pump.
and a bunch of lines and fittings: (this does not even show close to everything)
The push lock fittings look really nice I think
and modded my fuel pump hanger to use the supra pump and -6 AN bulkheads
I have about 30 feet of parker -6an fuel line and a bunch of hose ends that I dont have pictures of, but you get the jist.

And my least favorite subject... Wiring.
I dont have much to say about the chassis wiring, its just going to be a custom race harness. Built by the same person who did my engine harness.
I picked up this.
and started harvesting the necessary stock plugs from my spare GTS harnesses. So far i've gathered the fuel pump and fuel level pigtails, headlight and tail light pigtails, turn signal switch and front winker pigtails, brake light switch, and license plate bulbs, starter signal and alternator pigtails. I THINK That's everything needed from the stock wiring to build the chassis harness.
here are some of them, the rest are in a pile with the engine/at the shop.
and I started playing with the idea of a panel to mount my ecu and relay board.
but then I decided that this panel I have is too small and awkwardly shaped, so i'm going to use it for a gauge cluster backing instead and get a larger sheet for this project.

Yeah, it sounds amazing. And the torque is awesome. I did the same swap, blacktop ITBs but with vipec v44 standalone.

mr2 manual rack, power knuckles, 5mm slip on spacers, stock tie rods. its decent.

modified my dash and cluster bezel and did a test fit of the stack, just getting a feel of how i'm going to do the dash.
going to cut that cardboard piece out of aluminum and wrap it in carbon vinyl I think.
