With a proper build this just isn't true.
There are plenty of OEM turbo cars that make it to 150k to 200k miles. The biggest thing is how you drive it.
If you built a 150 WHP NA 4A and a 150 WHP turbo 4A it's very likely the latter will last longer. The turbo allows the motor to make more power lower in the RPM. RPM has a lot to do with how long a motor will last.

In the same way, if you built a 250 HP turbo 4A and for the most part drove it nice it would likely last just as long as the 150 HP motor if you drove it nice.
If you stuck them in a top gear style shootout where the 150 HP NA had to drive as fast as it could as long as it could and the 250 HP turbo just had to keep up the turbo would last longer, get better gas mileage and be much less taxed.
So it's all pretty relative. The only issue with having 250 HP is it's hard to drive it the same as if you had 150 HP.

Yep, it is how you drive it. When you have a turbo on your car, you tend to use that power to put a smile on your face, which generally means less longevity. Having fun with boost puts more stress on parts than NA. Simple fact that adding more parts (turbochargers) gives more chances of a part to fail.

But all this is beside the point... the car is not a DD. Meaning smile factor is most important, not longevity. ;)

You need a Celica rear end. A GTS rear end can handle more beef than an SR5 rear end can sure, but a lot more? Nope.

There will be no turbos here!

I have something far more expensive and ignorant in terms of financial responsibility to pay for soon.

False
HP for HP RPM puts more stress on an engine than boost does. If you have equal displacement motors that put out the same power the NA motor will have to spin faster to make it which will make it more likely to fail sooner.

Close.
Debating on R32 GTR/NSX/Mk4 Supra/FD RX7 right now.

All four options are open to me

All them options are super deep money pits. Like set your money on fire and then put the fire out by throwing money on it. The more stock and original, the better on all those cars!

Nothing too extreme.
At all.

I do like my anus free of penetration.

Both my real one and my financial one.

That she is.

stupid question, could the 4AGZE S/C be adapted to a 20V head?

It could but I wouldn't go that route.
You would be better off picking up an M62 or M90. They are more plentiful and you can rebuild them. They are also a little more efficient and rated for a higher PR.
I have wanted to make a bolt on kit for the M90 but the problem is that it won't fit on the side of the motor with the intake side starter that most AW11s run. You wouldn't have that problem though. It should fit right under the intake mani.
Or you could be a man and stick it on top of the motor but then you would need to cut a big hole in that pretty hood lol.

I have a couple eaton blowers here. I think I have a 90 and a 62. I could probably make you a bolt on kit for maybe a grand or so.
The only downside of doing it on a 20v is you don't want the throttle bodies after the SC since it makes it real hard to modulate the power. Everyone I have talked to with TB post SC says the throttle turns into an on off switch with no modulation.
You would be best off just ripping the ITBs off and run a big single pre SC.

My suggestion would be to do it one of two ways.
Option 1. boost on the stock internals for now and just run 6-10 PSI depending on what it will take and what octane gas you can get.
Option 2. throw some high comp forged pistons and some cams in it.
Superchargers don't like high pressure ratios so take advantage of that and the 4As nature to spin.
Somewhere between 10:1 and 11:1 compression, cams and 12 PSI boost would make for a very exciting ride.

When the AW11 project is on the slate I'll have to talk to you about that for sure Yoshi.
Right now its kinda on the tail end, ahead of it being something ignorant fast and after it a nice VIP Lexus.

But honestly, based off what I have gathered from you I would probably buy a SC system from you.

It all fits under the deck of the stock AW11?

Nope, putting it on top would require a custom engine lid or running none at all.
If you sourced a transverse trans with the starter on the exhaust side that supercharger should fit under the intake mani where the SC12 sits.

Or if you saved up a couple grand extra you could go real fancy with a twinscrew or TVS.

I still think turbo is better overall personally.
