This poor 86...

85 toyota project car. Needs body work, a starter switch, and some other small repairs. I have the wing, missing front piece of body kit as well as a new clutch and rear passenger side window. It has a twin cam motor with no problems.

Talk about F-ing up a car.

the plus side to this is at lest with the suicide doors and trunk when you try and break that land speed record you can probabally rig some sort of mechanical cable/pulley system and open the doors and trunk to slow you down.

Lol Saab front clip. If it runs, I could see paying a grand and parting it out.

Somebody please. Take it to a vet and have it put down.

Good lord, what were they thinking.

I can't believe some of the damnable things people do to cars. I almost want to check out this poor, hacked up thing in person so I can see how bad it is (like if it could be brought back to life).

I have to wonder if the wires hanging out the door are a ghetto pull strap (like on a Delorean)?

I couldn't ever say that abominable style ever had "glory." It looks like **** Super impractical too... if someone wanted to "show off" their modification "skills" then they should have done that to a barbecue grill.

So was that a "thing" at one time, like putting those tiny rims/tires that stuck out past the sides of the fenders back in the late 90s, or "stanced" more recently?

meh, it's all perspective bro. 10 years down the line, i can imagine the "sticker bomb"/hella(mexi)flush/"illest" look to be ragged on then as everyone is ragging on this right now.

but in the end of it all, "to each their own".

It's not really my cup of tea, but I definitely respect some of the cars back in the early 90's that sported this look.

You know this thing was cool when it would roll up to the car show back in the day.
There a lot of work in to that car!
