Knock Knock. Who's There?

Ahahahaha
Here's a story from today cause I need to share this with peeps that know what I'm talking about since I need to get it out of my system. I'm still in that odd mix of shock, sadness, disbelief, and laughter from it all.
Today, I finally got off my ass and fixed the cable that came loose from the distributor causing a CEL12 since I can't get a smog check with the check engine light on. So, I did that, went for a ride to check if it wasn't running stupid or slow to develop power like it had before the cable came loose. Turns out it was that same cable being in crappy condition causing the slow development. Got on the freeway, redlined the first two gears and headed home.
As I turned on to the street with a wall next to it, the one near Gushi's shop, I heard a CLACK CLACK CLACK and wondered if the leak the driver-side axel developed in the past month had finally leaked out all the transmission oil. Drove slower, got home, popped the hood and well...
Here's a video of when I popped the hood.

I'm considering my options since I know it will fail smog due to the cheap cat I put in two years ago and I have to take it to one of the fandagled STAR places. Plus, the paint is... not pleasant.
So far it's
I'm not in a hurry to do anything since I've recently been walking everywhere and there's the ever present issue of money to throw at it. It won't be at least until April for me to do anything like swapping the engine cause I need to source a bigport for not-fresh-rebuild prices. Hell, do bigports even pop up in the classified section anymore?

- Yeah-Right Tier: Rebuild the current bigport (doubt it cause it's cheaper to buy another one)
- Easy-ish Tier: Sell it as is for as much as I can since it really just needs another bigport swapped into it, and use that money towards something else. Like another AE92. Plus, all the fees are paid.
- Good Luck Tier: Pray it makes it to the smog place a mile away and survives long enough so it fails, I claim it under the Vehicle Retirement Program, and get it to the *cry* dismantler and use that money towards something else like another AE92
- I-Don't-Want-To-Do-This-Cause-I'm-Lazy-And-Have-To-Get-An-Engine-And-I-Kinda-Want-An-AW11 Tier: Swap in another bigport since I don't have enough experience/time/space/money/motivation to put in anything else.
