Thanks, I got the dash mat from my toyota dealership. Yeah, I got a san adreas fault under my mat. The mat came out to about $40 and the material is black velour.

Uncracked dashes

where do these critters appear from?

My current car had an uncracked dash when I first got it, and it had 230K+ miles. For a short time the pristine dash was my pride and joy, I bragged to everyone...... Soon after I looked at the dash funny and it cracked once above the clock, no joke

Someone that could work molds and make look alike dashes would earn a killing off them.

Mine came from across the pond.

Where exactly across the pond?
I just need to find one good one, mold it and well... profit.

For RHD there are reproduction dashes, but not sure about LHD. Why not mold a cracked one, then correct it for the molding. Doesn't seem like you would need a perfect one. Even noncracked ones are slightly warped.

That looks pretty good. I have an idea to refinish my dash since I don't have vents or a clock, I'd like to smooth the whole thing over. Probably use some Hannah Montana fabric or somethin....
