Fuel starve.

I play with my sr5 carb 4acImage at the local race track on drift practice nights. Basically an open parking lot with cones making a mock course. When turning right into a drift, car works fine. When turning left I get fuel starve pretty bad. A friend of mine suggested putting an inline pump in and wiring a switch to it so I can turn it on during runs or when I'm ice racing (lots of drifting there too). My guess is the fuel pick up is on the left side. Think the pump would be enough to compensate? Also fenders are missing because I'm making fiberglass ones and they're not done yet.

You might want to make a similar post in Tech Talk if you haven't. You would be more likely to get a proper response then.

Edit 1: Neeeeeeever mind. You got help.

If you run a serge tank (aka swirl pot) with an additional fuel pump the problem will stop.

just try to keep the gas tank full , the sr5 tank does not have
baffles In the tank to help reduce fuel starvation
,at high corner speeds(ex:drifting, dounuts) But the GTS tank does.

i like to take a 5gal. Gas tank with me when I go to an
event to fill my tank once at the track so I don't have to
stop my seat time to fill up or
Leave to go back to a gas station =even less seat time lol

If you still get starvation..
If it 4ac, check your mechanical fuel pump on under the
Air cleaner,(@intake side of the head) it may be worn out if it's the original one..
