Hi, everybody! My name's Grant and I was a member here a few years back as pilot_tenkawa, (I even found my 86 here back in 2008) but my password didn't work and I don't have that email address anymore...so I'm KYHachi now! Hello~! ^^
Originally from Lexington, KY, currently and for the next ~2 years living in Tokyo for graduate school and I REALLY miss my Toyotas.
This is my '86 GT-S, which as of today has a GZE sitting in the garage waiting to be put in...someday when I have time, money, and am back in the States. XD
Not much else done to it yet; K&N Intake, TRD header, HKS Hi-Power, BC Racing coilovers, and a Corbeau seat and 4-pt harness. I just finished rebuilding the bluetop before I left, which was a bit bittersweet.
And my '87 MR2 DD, which has a silvertop waiting for it. Someday.
The MR2 is bone stock except a TRD header, MR-S shifter, and Nardi TRD wheel.
I don't have any pictures of the other car, but my dad and I also have a gold '86 MR2 that is basically just getting restored, since it was in such good shape when he picked it up.
Anyway, glad to be back! And I have quite a few photos from various things I've seen around Tokyo if people are interested.
