Signed, I'm sick of racetracks being shut down for some BS economic profit.

It sounds like this is an FAA thing, not a profit thing. If so, this is happening all over the country. My local SCCA chapter just lost an airport venue because of FAA regulations.

What it comes down to is the whole "airport" thing. Apparently something being safe for use by airplanes means it is difficult to be safe for use by cars.
