Was at Autobachs on Saturday to get a wheel repaired for my other car. Had to load up the wheel in the hachi to take it to Son Tran who works out of this lot in weekends (usually mobile service). Was good to stretch out the corolla on the freeways, but sucked on the way home stuck in traffic on a hot day with no AC or tint...

Sensible ride height? Peter is that thing 4WD? Just playing man, it looks great!

I did something yesterday, I found a nut to fit my valve cover so I'll quit blowing oil out when I tune my carbs lol.

Russ, the front end of that thing looks great.. I love "clean" USDM front ends.... Is that an Rx-7 I see peeking out behind the truck?

Today I drove the sh1t out of it until the header caught fire. Then I washed it cuz it's been sitting in a garage for almost 2 years.

Ha, I figured one day mine would be unique since I'm the only one I see with a US front end anymore :-)

Yep! It's an 84 with the S4 ignition system swapped in.

Took the corolla in to the exhaust today on my day off to get a bung welded for my Haltech wideband sensor.
Wont have time to install the sensor this weekend, but it will be a simple job when time permits.

Put on 38mm wheel spacers and used the rear 25mm ones and slapped them in front.
Wheels sit where they should now IMO.

TY sir. I would like to lower it maybe another 1/4 inch, but its already to the point that the front bumper lip hits exiting lots, and the header is close to getting scraped up. Dont wanna dent it more than when C2Auto slammed this car and banged up the header more than one would want.

Yes it is. He sold it to c2auto then mattjk bought it. I told Matt if he ever decided to sell it to call me first. I wasn't ready to buy it in 2009 but didn't want to see the car leave SoCal.

I work at Jpl where jr works.

Sorry I didnt get to meet you there (maybe I did and didnt realize it?). I met some of you, which was nice to put face to names, but im sure I missed more than I met. I was surprised at the turnout. Nothing amazing, but not bad considering SEMA was that week.

i dont haz pics (yet) but i kinda tucked the rear wiring harness so it didnt look so janky back there. ran it through the brace behind the front seats, then inside the quarter panels. need to re-do it to get it fully tucked. the brace behind the seats is not open on the passenger side. need to drill it out and re-run it. looks way cleaner without rainbow spaghetti all over the sheetmetal.

oh and painted the timing gear cover with some black krylon fusion. looks much better glossy instead of faded plastic. hit my master cylinder heat shield with the same after i cleaned it up and primed it. waaaay better.

will post pics when i get a chance.
