Have you checked all the Barns?
You might get lucky and get a Barnfind AE86 just chillen' in one of them!
Re: any montanans here?
have you posed this question on hachiroku.net? it's a pnw based site but you might find peeps a little closer to you than cali.

Re: any montanans here?
Just saw an ae86 driving down the road in billings, it was a white coupe with no trim and wide wheels and fenders. first one iv'e seen in montana and in person, didn't get a very good look though sped off pretty fast. Pretty awesome gives me hope of getting one someday. Although my craigslist add has been up for 6 months and not 1 reply:(

^^ totally worth a shot, they always seemed more 'mid-west' based of all of the Corolla forums. Strmrdr23 is right about hachiroku.net being more north west oriented but it too is worth a shot, Club4AG seems pretty wide spread but I'd def give 86Garage a look. I feel like there's an Ohio forum as well and there's always ECToyotas if you feel like coming east for a car, best of luck, I'm sure there's some hiding out your way!

Check the plate guy! That's me a couple of years ago killing cones... currently the car is receiving a new heart
You're not going to get anything on CL. If you're in Billings, there are a few. The white one you saw, is pretty thrashed, and currently sits with a blown rear end. There are a few stock gts's in town and a few NICE sr5's. I found my first kouki coupe on a side street in Billings and approached the dude... several times. He finally sold it to me for $500 and a case of beer. You have to be proactive.
I do have a buddy with a stock zenki coupe in Missoula that would probably sell (as he wants a hatch). Shoot me a line at six7two oh33six. -Nels

Also, hr.net is a great place to find things that are relatively near...
