gts front brakes

Wanted to know if anyone knew the brake rotors and calipers are same as the sr5 brakes.disk diameter and caliper piston hub etc.?

My memory is fuzzy on this- So pardon me, but to the best of my recollection, not always. If memory serves me right sr5 coupes always had gts fronts, but some sr5 hatchbacks had gimpier front calipers than the rest. Its been many years but I made the mistake of pulling/buying the wrong set one trip to the junkyard because I had no clue there would be any diffrence. I saw a rolla, went "oo i need some of these! yoink!" and was quite confused when I made it back home.

If youre having trouble locating a set, go to rock auto. Theyve got a HUGE selection of remanned (and loaded!) calipers for sale for relative peanuts. If you keep an eye out for a special you can probably snag a set of rebuilt ones for less than youd spend for a pair of **** ones at the junkyard.

SR5 or ae85 in japan had non vented, smaller front rotors, with different calipers.
