$700 is fair for a plain rebuild as long as no serious machine work is required.

I do cylinder head porting - viewtopic.php?f=22&t=300 For about $1100 (you supply head) I can return a ported and polished largeport head.

Portland Oregon 97219.... shipping in the USA typically runs about $60 to me, and $80 out (do to high insurance value). I do have cylinder heads I can begin from, they would add $200 with no core, or $100 with your head as a core.

max... that's pretty darn good... what all do you get for $160??

typically around here** at least $160 only covers the cost to clean the head, pressure check it, and machine the surface to flat. What do they do about valve seals, valve springs, not to mention valve to seat finish?
