I'm getting ready to swap my 87 sr-5 corolla to gts. I'm a bit of a newbie to this, so if there is anything I'm leaving out, feel free to give me some input. I'm looking to buy a transmission, bell housing, clutch, driveshaft, and rear-end. I'm sure there is some suspension parts I'm leaving out, but right now the rear-end and transmission are the big ticket items that I'm having trouble finding. I live in Arkansas, and corollas this old are almost non-existent.

are you going from an automatic to a manual?

If so, you'll need a manual transmission crossmember, and I think I have one.
