GTS Speedo Drive Spline Gear

I recently swapped my GTS T50 transmission with an SR5 T50. Not realizing that I also had to change the speedo drive spline gear inside the extension housing, I sold my GTS T50 transmission. That said, my MPH is reading incorrectly. I already have the counter part of the speedo gear, I just need the one inside the extension housing (circled in red in the picture below). Please let me know if you have one or willing to sell your junk GTS T50 so I can part it out myself. I need just one, but more than one would be cool too.

i believe i have one of them, but ill need to dig it out, its under lots of boxes in with a torn apart trans. ill take a look this weekend

Nice to see the effort on the transmission. Just would suggest new since I had snapped one before (good ole' memories). Plus you are putting all that work in.

I have kept a few shafts I'll check for you just gotta dig.

hi guy
i too after installing a 2 way LSD and upgrade the ring and pinion to 4.778 my odometer reading is pretty off by 7--10 miles
i would told to change the speedo gear and related part to fix the problem. but can any one tell me the part number from toyota ?
any help is appreciated

phanist, I don't know the part number myself. However, you can call your local Toyota dealership and ask them.

gts p/n is 33481-12030
it wont correct the speedo. your problem is the 4.77 gear. youll ned to research, but iirc, there was some info on the old site about correcting this with some aftermarket drive gear kit.
mix-n-matching the sr5/gts speedo gears and drive gears will just chew the plastic speedo gear up.

So new speedo gear wont fix the problem.. I suspected that wont fix it... Because my odometer was reading fine before the 4.77 upgrade..
