I care alot more about the shell than the engine, although a good 4age transmission would be nice. A little rust is fine, (not interested in boxing a frame or rebuilding rear fenders, tho) no clear coat is fine, even an engine on its last leg is fine too. I would prefer a running engine so I dont need to immediately install the black top but if its a great rolling chassis by all means I'm game. My dad has an 88 with a black 20v Im gonna either get the rwd corolla or the rwd mr2 so we can track them together. If anyone is local, or at least within a few hundred miles, trying to sell their corolla please reply so I could buy it.

Check craigslist also as I have seen quite a few on ther lately in that area.
