Postby lueej » Mon May 27, 2013 7:13 pm

For Sale:

Build date February 1970 Toyota Corona Mark II Wagon. Stock 4 Speed manual with 18-R engine added.
Looking for $4500 OBO.
Located in La Mirada, CA.
contact Luigi (via text preferably) 714.906.5833 or email luigi.a.villanueva@gmail.com
please do not use PMs, I will respond faster with text, emails, or calls.
I will be back home for the summer beginning June 13, but my dad may be able to show the car before then.

*****I have lost the title, so the buyer will have to register it in CA to get a new title before transferring to another state.*****

Daily drove this during my senior year of high school, and it shared duties with the '83 Supra outside of school. Ran and started fine, idles nice and low after warmup. Air conditioning unit removed but still have it in my possession. Currently on non-op I believe, registration sticker up to 2013. Left it at home when I moved up to Santa Cruz for school.

ADDED:
-Nardi Woodgrain, 360mm
-Konig Rewind 14x7 -9 Offset, painted gold in the center by me. paint can be removed. half the set was flat black and the other half was silver when purchased.
-5 Panel Rearview Mirror
-Privacy Cover in the storage area
-Tint on the sides of the storage area (for safety of goods)
-Yellow film tint on high beam lights
-18-R Engine swapped for the dead 8-RC that it came with. Engine came from a Hilux.
-Roof rack (adjustable, they slide and can be removed.)
-fender mirrors.
-Speakers in rear
-Stereo inside glove box with an auxiliary cable
-Antenna from miata
-Extra coolant reservoir
-new gas cap, clutch, master brake cylinder, starter, control arms, fuel and air filters, and much more basic items for reliability.
-mooneyes antenna ball
-will throw in a mooneyes license plate, some JNC stickers for the buyer :D

CONS (no big problems, just giving full disclosure, this is everything AFAIK):

-smell of gas comes from the back near the filler area on hard left turns with a full tank of gas. the area is accessible behind an interior panel on the inside that I have removed before and I believe the tank is spilling on left turns.
-fuel meter only reads to 3/4 of the tank when full, most likely due to replacing the old mechanical regulator with a more reliable electronic one (which had a lower capacity I think.)
-speedometer and odometer are not accurate due to swapped wheels
-the car is 42 years old and the 5 digit odometer has most likely rolled over.
-needs new roller knob for the driver window. the window can still be rolled, but the knob at the end of the window winder has broken off, and I just use the arm.
-missing some emblems
-driver side fender replaced due to original being dented badly before I purchased the car
-trunk key fob replaced with one from a datsun (blasphemy) because the original was missing, still works with same key as starter.
-front grille surrounding (the chrome part) missing in a small corner
-could use a new carpet and front seats, rear seat has a tear in a small area.
-no rear bumper guards (this is a preference, but I wish I had them.)
-some small dents and could use paint.

Bump for a 1970 Corona Mark II Wagon. I had mine until 1997. Painted it black and put a 18R-G with a 5-speed in it. Wish I kept it.

Sweet, I always dreamed of mine having an RG! Also considered a 4AG but right now the car is up for sale.
