Hey guys, I'm the third owner of this car. It is in excellent condition. The original owner garaged it, the second owner would have destroyed it (she was an old lady who bought it from a friend who also worked at PG&E) but fortunately the fuel pump started failing so she stopped driving it before selling it to me. I replaced the fuel pump with a factory toyota kyosan unit and it runs flawlessly. As it was the second owner managed to dent the front drivers side headlight, and the rear passenger side fender. The headlight was replaced and painted. The sunroof had typical rust and was replaced with a new fiberglass one. I am not totally satisfied with the work of the body shop I had paint the light and sunroof. The match isn't perfect but it is good enough unless you are looking for it. If I had more time I would probably re-do it because that is the kind of guy I am.

The only significant cosmetic issue remaining is the rear passenger fender which I chose to leave alone so the next buyer knows exactly what he or she is getting. It was scaped, and would be easy to repair.

Factory AC car, the coolant was converted to R-134a by original owner but the AC clutch does not engage, I haven't looked into it. Climate control unit is in tact and works as intended otherwise. Dash is uncracked.

The interior is in the kind of shape you would expect for a low mileage car. It looks fantastic, the door sills and package tray are hardly even faded if at all. It is currently stored under a car port so it gets minimal sun exposure. Automatic shifts great, cruises well on the freeway with nice overdrive.

Totally rust free. It was smogged about 84 days ago meaning a potential buyer has around 6 days to buy the car and register it before they have to bring it through the smog process again.

While this car isn't the most desirable model, it is in fantastic shape and is a perfect foundation for an all out project, or would be an awesome cruiser if it was just lowered a little bit. For not much more $ than a beater, you get a near perfect example.

Asking 6320. The best way to contact me is phone 831 917 five seven five six or email mrcunha AT gmail.com I'm not interested in any trades at this time.

I am interested and have full asking price cash-in-hand.

Can you please drive the car to SoCal so that my mechanic can take a look?

That red one is cool. I think the biggest difference is the brown interior.

I know that 6320 isn't exactly cheap, but the price is negotiable and the car is pretty close to being new. Its a shame it isn't a manual, but at least the A/T cars have a crossmember that works with the W58

Its just a beautiful and perfect foundation for a project. It would be a project where you upgrade things as you like instead of spending all of your time trying to make the car look decent or run reliably. Instead of starting your project with a sort of smashed up car that has a million miles on it and needs basically every bushing replaced, you are starting with a super clean car with great paint in a great color. Obviously it isn't ideal but if it was, it would cost even more.

Thanks for the positive comments, and for the negatives, its alright!

Your best bet is to put it on eBay

This car was on ebay, and the auction ended only 2 days ago. It had 18 bids and went up to only $1,725.00 not meeting the reserve lol.

Price drops because I need money, and market is soft. I had it on ebay, reserve not met and shady unresponsive international bidders who's bids I had to remove. Original asking price was what I thought was a good ball park starting price for this car. I haven't seen any other near-mint AE86's for sale except some of the ones imported from Japan which are all much higher priced, and of course the red one linked earlier in this thread. It's always been open to offers, but there isn't much interest. I think the only people with money to spend right now are long hood porsche guys.
