FS SOCAL: 1986 Corolla GTS Hatch

Postby gumby_z13 » Tue May 13, 2014 12:50 am

Howdy All. Getting ready to head overseas so time to sell the 86.

Original GTS in good, solid condition.
Smog Certificate in hand, just passed about 2 weeks ago with no problems.
376,000 on the odometer.
Runs and drives great, has been my wife's daily driver for the past few years. Very Clean.
Has full interior. Interior was blue but swapped over to black with Recaro front seats from a Toyota Surf SSR-G. Rear seats have been stitched with similar style fabric to match the front Recaros. Door panels and rear panels have been recovered as well. Dash was recovered with black vinyl. Most of the plastics from the "B" pilar forward are black to include front carpet, the only ones that were not originally black are the vents and the shifter surround, all other front plastics are black. Rear hatch plastics are blue and have been dyed with SEM interior spray dye to include rear carpet. Seats are in good condition with a few holes from wear (can easily be fixed). Seat foams are all solid.
Momo Steering Wheel
OE JDM side skirts
Front/Rear strut bars
Completely stock engine, I think the only thing I am missing is the washer tank. Clean engine bay.
Celica Supra wheels 14x8 with new tires (less than 1000 miles)
Non-LSD
Car is a driver but it shows well. Paint is decent - Sonic Pearl Blue (Ford color, touch up spray paint still available, have two cans to go along with the car) has some scratches, knicks and some crazing in a few spots. Small dent in front passenger side fender just above front wheel from where I leaned in on it a bit much when working on the engine. Couple small rust spots. No holes but a couple spots starting to bubble. Hood has holes drilled for hood pins but never had the pins installed.

Replaced within last 10,000 miles:
Brakes all around
Clutch (stock replacement)
Timing Belt
Head Gasket - no issues to cause replacement. Only replaced as a precaution with the car showing that many miles.
A/C pump (rebuilt unit) and receiver/drier - never finished going through the system so A/C is not working. System is complete though.
Distributor
TPS
Starter (last week)
Tie Rods (inner and outer) - (Last week)
Steering rack bushings (Last week)

I'm sure I am forgetting a few things but will update if anything else comes to mind.

Looking for $4500 OBO. No trades. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures shoot me a PM or call/text at 442-333-8630.
Car is located in North County San Diego, Oceanside on Camp Pendleton.

Contrary to popular belief, good deals tend to go quick.
