Blue SR5 hatch, 1400, Camarillo, Ca now w/ pictures

I've got ab '84 manual transmission SR5 hatch. Runs, drives, tags until August.
Wife is annoyed at my car habits. I need a wife apprved daily, not two projects. I'm "in too deep" with my other car and it is by far a car I have wanted to do more than a corolla. Poor 'rolla failed smog, needs carb or carb rebuild and a "thermostatic air cleaner," (a metallic type hose from exhaust heating element to intake). Then it might pass, don't know. Bought the car a few months ago. Repaired quite a few things to get it really road worthy and such.
I like the car, it has a strong motor, wife is just done with me spending money on this car. No radio, no climate controls, electric fan installed. Horrible paint. Some rust in a few areas, what I have seen looks easily repairable with no cutting and welding save for the hatch itself. Probably easiest to get a new hatch.
I have a few other new parts that will come with the car:
- inner and outter front wheel bearings
- carb rebuild kit
Also have a parts carb, but it is missing a few parts and the body of the carb is no good.
I'm asking 1400, if I get my asking price I will throw in a manual steering rack with everything required to do the swap from the donor car.
Great for a starter into the AE86 realm. NOT ready for the track. I drive it every day and it has not left me stranded, just failed me... for the last time... with smog.
