A rare Mazda Group A rally homologation special. 1 of 1243 sold in the US, 1 of about 600 left registered. This is a 1.6 liter turbo AWD hot hatch. It has Many rare and period specific parts that will come with it, along with many spares. Modifications are: larger side mount intercooler, custom short ram intake with properly recirculated BPV, HKS V-CON fuel computer, HKS catback exhaust, electronic boost control, turbo timer, K-Sport coilovers, lower ratio 5th gear swap for better high speed cruising, and triple gauges on the a-pillar (Boost, oil pressure, and oil temp.)
This car is my daily at the moment. Easy starting every time. The car has working AC and heat, electric door locks and windows, and a fully opening sunroof. The interior is extremely clean for a car its age and there is no rust that i have ever seen. Within the last 1000 miles it has had the following replaced, battery, tires, timing belt, accessory belts, engine oil/filter. The spares and parts included are many electrical components, strut bars from Australia that almost fit and could be modified, exhaust manifold, flywheel, old trans parts from the 5th gear swap, and a coilover kit, and many other parts. All worth probably 500-600 dollars to other GTX community members.
The parts that could use attention: the clutch slips, and the trans grinds sometimes into 1st and second gear, the paint has some clear coat issues as shown in the pictures on the hood and roof, there is an oil leak from the oil pan area on the trans side of the engine.
