OH:FT:02 S2000 for early 70's Celica

Postby aF » Sun Nov 24, 2013 6:47 pm

I know this is a long shot, but I figured its worth a try.I see a few early Celicas in here for sale.So I guess here is what I am looking for.71-3 coupe,gt or st,prefer a manual but auto is fine.Looking for a solid driver,no projects. Can be stock or swapped.Looking for a even trade, can't add any cash.I already
have a ae86,so not interested in another unless it has a s2k swap or a sr in it.

Ok on to my car.Its a 02 Sebring siver with 100k on it.All stock besides radio.Tires have less than 1k on them, new timing chain tensioner, new serpentine belt, new front sway links.trans, diff fluid changed.valves adjusted as well as a new valve cover gasket.has a low milage ap2 cat and exhuast system on it.New rear wheel bearings.Body is in decent shape for the year/mileage.Has stone chips on the hood and front on fenders, front cover has a few minor gouges.Few small dings in passenger door and one on left fender.Top has one small repair and doesn't leak.I don't put in down to keep the wear down. The car had minor damage on right qtr under the bumper area I have pics and the rear cover was torn off.repair was done by a professional and you can not tell it was ever touched. Therefore it has a rebuilt Ohio title.I had a new Honda cover bought but besides that it has all its original panels.Interior is in great shape with minimal wear on the drivers seat bolster.Car also has a Chase Race hitch installed.i used it only to haul my bike around.

So right now I am just looking for trades. If I had to put a value on it even with a rebuilt title,I would put it at 9500.The market price is around 11-12 k in the same condition witha clear title.like I stated early the damage was minimal and I think insurance companies are total happy sometimes.i would be willing to travel for the right car.Not sure how get pics on here from my i phone,so I can email them.or if anyone can tell me how to post them, that would be great.[/Imageurl]Image

Would all depend on the condition of the Celica. If it is nice enough and I really like it,I would be willing to trade even up.I really am looking for a nice one to start with.
