1984 Toyota Corolla SR5 AE86 Hatch $3500

Postby MikeMars23 » Fri Nov 15, 2013 10:30 am

Up for sale is a 1984 Toyota Corolla SR5 it better known as an AE86. If you didn't know already this is a really popular drift platform and is a perfect candidate for one or you could just live it as is as a daily driver. The car only has 180k miles pretty close to 190k but that is only on the chassis. The engine itself has less than 10k. I swap out the motor for one that already had lows miles and still rebuilt it. I even got a new carb for it. I also replaced the crankshaft pulley along with belts. I just recently serviced the car less than a month ago (oil change/oil filter, gas filter, flushed out the radiator and put new coolant). I also changed the front brakes a couple of months ago (rotors and brake pads). I will also throw in a couple of things from when I swapped out the motor. The interior is pretty good no major rips or tears on the seats and the carpet is clean. The only major problem on this car is the driver side fender but with the purchase I will also include a new one that I have. The car also needs a new paint job but it's not bad how it is. It's a 5-speed manual transmission that does not grind when shifted, shifts really well. The car also comes with a mp3 stereo that has a port for AUX and USB. It is a hatchback :). I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some stuff but if you have any questions or are interested please give me a call @ (323) 802-8180. I will not be answering calls in the morning until 3:00 pm but you can text me anytime you like. The price is obo but please don't low ball I know what this car is worth.

I wasn't really expecting to get that much but the prices are pretty high for sr5's especially hatches but the price is very negotiable. Thanks

Thanks, I know back then they were cheaper but the prices have gone up and are harder to find decent ones. Maybe with patience you can find one.

Car values increase with time, the intiald tax has settled down a bit because honda fan boys are moving on to nissans and other older toyotas,
