Found it in a Barn in BFN Texas, I went to check out a car for a customer before I paid, Noticed what looked like a 280zx at 1st in the barn and then when I went to look closer I could not believe what it was 280Z Fairlady. I asked the owner who it belonged to and he bought the property with the car there and never got to dealing with it and he wanted it off his property, and I bought it..

I'm sure there is a enthusiastic hybrid z owner who can make this car into an excellent example and clean it up way better then I can and devote more time into then I would be able to so my self. Don't have the time or the funds to put into this one now.

Ok, based on what you see in the photos, Yes there is rust, only surface on some areas and the pass side door is rotted on edges, worst spot is the driver right rear side which is rusted through. but as far as the car body frame its straight and no issued of any repair work done.

Engine is a L28 motor with an N42 head, the car does not run, I Pulled the plugs and oiled up the cyl with WD40 before Im going to try to crank it up since its been sitting for a very long time, oil is still clean but this is the factory block with matching #'s on the fire wall dog tag.. Transmission shfter works but as mentioned have not fired up car.

Its all there, Steering is a Steering box not rack and pinion. All of the control arms are there, Yes there is rubber bushing rot but its what you would find on a 30+vintage Nissan.
