Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
I'm interested in an early style cover, but strictly for a decoration. Hell, it doesn't even need holes drilled in it for the cam cap studs or spark plugs. I have a few extra 4A-GE valve covers that I want to repaint and hang on a wall. An FA cover would be a nice conversation piece.

This might be a dumb question..but do you have to remove the valve cover to fill oil? I dont see any other way lol.

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
Haven't forgotten about this...
3D scanning to generate a usable CAD file proved to be just too expensive & brought the unit cost up to $1,000.00....
because of that I now have a late spec cover with an SF machine shop for detailed drawing. From there they will make a prototype & assuming it fits my engine they will make a run of 20 covers.
Will post any updates I receive.

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
They use off the shelf Toyota coils. I don't recall the part number but will check one of my coils tonight.
I spoke with the machine shop this morning. Between scanning, programming & materials a run of 20 covers with result in a unit price of approx. $1400-$1500.
Seems like an expensive proposition but taking into account the block of billet needed for each one it's technically reasonable. I'm not paying it though as i think it's a little rich for my blood.
Wondering what the opinion would be of a fabricated one, similar to the welded covers often seen on V8s like the one below. These could be ground / polished smooth & will drastically reduce the cost. It would come in somewhere around $600 unit cost.

Hi Billy,
Just wonder if the production of these Valve covers are continuing?

In the short term, no. There won't be anything however in the long term Hasselgren does have a plan to produce their own billed series of covers.
Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
Good news. Appreciate it, thanks.
