Possible Turbo Corolla Part Out Tampa,FL

Postby Toyota97 » Sat Apr 13, 2013 4:29 pm

I might be parting out my build since I can't find a buyer to take it as a whole and I'm not lowering the price anymore. If I can find someone to buy the motor then I go ahead with parting out the car.

Car runs needs exhaust finished and a tune. Do not recommend driving the car without it being finished.

Shipping on what?

The motor is going to be parted out. I'll being posting everything Sunday and also will be listing things on eBay so I can get this stuff moved asap. I won't be shipping the crankshaft, block, or transmission. That stuff will be sold locally unless buyer really wants to pay shipping.

I'll be starting the official part out thread this weekend.

What GZE pistons are they? 8.1 or 8.9? Any issues with the block, crank, pistons, or rods? (I'm like 45 minutes from Tampa.)

As far as the block, crank, pistons and rods, this is a picture before all the stuff got installed. I'm quiet sure this stuff is still in the same shape as when I put them in saying I only ran the car for a total of two minutes if that. Just to see if it would fire up. I wanna say the pistons are 8:9 I can't remember. check out the pictures.

I think it's safe to say this stuff is in great condition.

I need to still pull out the motor and strip it down so everything can be sold. I plan on going to do that this weekend and starting an Official part out thread. I'll keep everyone posted.

Bottom end does look good. Was it overbored? Any machine shop work done to it? Can I ask why it wasn't run, other than for those few minutes?

It's standard bore size 82mm and yes it's had the mains line bored(standard size) to assure everything as straight, cyclinders honed, dipped and cleaned, new freeze plugs. I have receipts for everything. work was done at Rays Machine Shop in Tampa.

I moved from a house to an apartment and had no place to finish the car, thats y I posted it for sale and then I decided to part out the car because I have almost triple my asking price in the car and the only way to get most my money back was to part everything out. It was only run for a short time cause I just wanted to see my car run before it was gone. I'm not the type to just get it running and drive it. The car still needed a tune, paint, coilovers, and more JDM ish in order for me to be happy enough to drive it daily. It ran, I built it and that made me happy.

Here's my number if you or anyone has serious inquires about parts they want.

8134143863

Thanks
