Installation:
On your existing stereo brackets you will need to cut them in half. Switch positioning from top to botton (vice versa) It should look like this:
On the stereo section:

On the pocket section:

(Note: When installing the brackets only one screw lines up, that's okay because once the stereo is installed above it won't move)

Hi, is there any modifications involved to allow the cover to open and close freely? I had one laying around and the width of the pocket cover is 7 1/8", but the width of the console box is only 7" - sorry to go off tangent on your thread.

In your case you might have to trim the stereo bezel. Do you have the same stereo pocket? Mine fit perfect, what I did for mine was I cut the (L/R) brackets in 1/2 and switched the bottom portion to the upper position (vice versa w/ the top portion). You also have to play w/ the stereo bezel positioning and move it around till the door opens and closes freely, then bolt the stereo bezel securely.
