9k tach to modify your zeinki gts cluster

got a few of these im looking to get rid of $40 ea. plus shipping or $75 for an already modified plug-n- play set up

installation instructions:

take apart the 9k tach, trim it like this


now sand down the back of it to help let the light threw


now sand down the face of the original ae86 tach face like this to match the 9k tach


also do the back of the original ae86 tach face so its transparent like this


now clip the two metal tabs that hold the green board to the 9k tach motor



so that it is free like this




now mount the modified 9k tach face over the original ae86 face, and attach the tach motor with the 2 screws like this



now attach the loose 9k tach green board to the cluster 3 screws as pictured


once the green board is secured, mount the tach itself back to the cluster via the 2 screws that mount to the back of the tach motor


install the converted tach back into the ae86 cluster, and vuala! a funtional 9k rpm ae86 cluster


at night lit up, install bright led bulbs for the best effect.

mine did, but then again im running a megasquirt ecu on my turbo setup and have it set to a 9k limit. i suppose it all depends on you and your set up.

So it's a long shot but if you have any left I might take one. I have been trying to figure out if I have a dead tach or not but I'm still trying to figure out which two wires go to the tach.
