Hey guys
I have been looking for a cast Turbo manifold for a 4age 16 fwd AE92, did find one but its for rwd.
How can i make make this work for my fwd setup?
i do need to fit a t3 flange and a wastgate flange so any which way i do need to make an adaptor.
so was thinking of having the wastegate on the dizzy side and the turbo more on the battery side.
The manifold i want to buy-Look at the turbo mounting point - it faces upwards.

I know on an AW11 that mani will put the turbo straight in the firewall and rear window. On a FWD car I am pretty positive you would need to cut a hole in your hood for the turbo to stick out.
Why cast?
If you are worried about longevity I make a FWD turbo manifold that is made out of 11 ga tubing so it should outlast even a quality cast manifold.

I don't make one for a T3 but if you send me the turbo so I can confirm fitment I can make one custom. Still would be about the same price as that cast mani.

Ah, didn't realize you or that site were in SA. That does change things a little bit.
As for longevity how long a cast mani will last depends on a lot of variables such as design and quality. They do have a tendency to crack though with a well designed one that will be far down the road.
My manifold tubing is about 1/8" thick or just over 3mm. This is about twice as thick as your average manifold. It adds a little more weight but it's about as bulletproof as you are going to get.
I fully understand the costs and downsides of trying to get one to SA though.
I wish I could help you more with how much that mani will stick up. I really doubt it will clear the hood but you might be able to get it to fit with a hood scoop placed very near the front of the hood or something like that.
For reference this is about where a mani like that will stick the turbo.
Unfortunately I haven't seen a cast bottom mount mani that is still in production.
In fact aside from my mani this is one of the only FWD manis that I know of. Of course there are very big concerns with the longevity of this cheap thin wall mani but I would expect you could find it over there.

Yeah i had a look at this mani, still thinking about it.
But we do have mild steal manifolds this side,
If you can make me a manifold for $100 will be great but posting it would an added cost which il have to look at.
let me know

Hehe I wish I could.
Over here $100 would just barely cover my materials cost on the cheapest mani I could possibly make.
