It took a while to get everything designed and get all the parts in but I got the first pan finished today.

These require a stock pan so either you will need to provide a pan or pay for one, either a used pan in good condition or one of the aftermarket pans like you will find on Rockauto.
Squelch brought to my attention the fact that the Doorman and likely other aftermarket pans don't use the traditional metric drain plug but I will be adding my own metric bung.

Prices may change soon but as of now I'm going to do it like this.

If you provide a donor pan it will be $340 for an unpainted pan.
Bead blasted and spray painted or spray on truck bed liner will be $360.
Heat dissapation ceramic coating or any other ceramic coating I have on hand will be $380.
Custom color ceramics would be $400.

As of right now these are made to order so expect up to a week to ship from the time I have the pan and everything else I need to make one.

my first question is why, how low does this hang down. is oil starve really a prob for the 4ag, first time I go over a rumble strip on the race track that's going to be crushed back to oem size?

You get more volume and more heat dissipation.
Most importantly you get real deal baffles and when you combine that with the added volume in the pan you get greatly reduced chances of sucking air into the system under high dynamics.

The depth of the pan is same as stock so if you smack this you would have smacked that. The addition is also made out of 14 ga steel which is about 20% thicker than the stock pan. This makes it stronger and more ridged.

Makes me appreciate Oldeskewltoy's Batpan plan even more, with its simple yet effective horizontal plate to keeps the oil from climbing up the sides, without all the holes & trap doors stuff.

Actually this pan is a perfect example of how prep work will save you time in the long run.
I drew this whole thing up in CAD and worked out all the big kinks before even making a thing. I then sent it to the watterjetter and they cut the pieces and bent the center piece.
By the time I got everything it fit together like a precision jig saw puzzle. This one took me about half a day to make but the first one always takes longer. Yes there is the dev time that will have to be amortized over the first parts you make but in the end it's well worth it.
