So I recently purchased the OBX TRD style header (Yeah I know, floorboards, Cusco mounts, O2 mount etc., not important for this) and I have realized that my 20V sensor is a flanged twin-bolt unlike the screw in 16V sensor, while the header is clearly threaded.
So what's the approach? Can I use a 16V O2 sensor, can I use an aftermarket replacement or will I need to modify the header?

Re: OBX TRD ripoff and O2 sensor
you should be able to unscrew the twin bolt flange. my 16v obx header had the twin flanged type. the flange should be the same between the 16v 1 wire and the 20v 4 wire o2 sensors. are you sure your looking at the right hole? my o2 bung is on the down pipe and not on the header. i had to extend the o2 wire to reach the new location

I just came across this pic but i wouldnt go that rout unless you absolutely had to since the o2 sensor is only seeing 1 cylinder

I suspected it when I gave my sensor a twist, but I also worried I'd just snapped something off inside it, I'll check it tonight. Hopefully I didn't break it

Re: OBX TRD ripoff and O2 sensor
The sensor I have is only a 16V sensor, apparently the engine I have wasn't supplied with it's sensor. And the OBX header comes with the downpipe, which is what I meant, sorry.
Basically I'm out a sensor and an Ebay'd one will set me back $180 shipped to Canada. Any suggestions from anyone on a source for replacement?

Re: OBX TRD ripoff and O2 sensor
If you have the plug then you can get one from oreillys auto parts. im not sure if you have orelly auto parts but there web site lists a universal sensor that will work with the 20v for 55 bux or so. you will need to splice the 20v o2 plug onto the new o2 sensor or you will need to get a plug from a sw20 mr2 and wire that onto your wiring harness. you should be able to use any toyota 4 wire o2 sensor
