W58 / T50 Adaptor?

Postby SlideSexy » Sun Mar 03, 2013 7:25 pm

I'm not currently in the market for one, but i've been trying to find a company or someone that makes a W58 to T50 Bellhousing adaptor. There were a bunch of people that made them before but I can't seem to find any.

If someone knows of someone that can please let me know.

*** Not currently in the market - it's for future reference ! ***

I've read around for people that have had those and they say that they suck. Apparently they crack. I was thinking something along the lines of an adapter plate

I have been searching for something like this FOREVER!!!
I would have ordered one (like yesterday) but now I am worried because you say you have heard some bad stuff about them. Please enlighten!

If the bellhousing cracks, get a welder and reinforce the crap out of it. It's a lot better than having an offset transmission

Do you still have to cut a larger hole for the shifter with the bell housing? If no then that's a whole lot better than an adaptor plate.

Does anyone know which W58 tail end works best with the AE86 transmission tunnel?
