Been looking for a replacement o2 sensor for my blacktop. Can't seem to find a definitive answer on an available replacement. Is there a confirmed to work denso 4wire replacement I can easily order? Part no if possible for the replacement or a link. Thanks!

I don't have the part number on hand, I'll see if I still have the box when I get home. However I used a 4 wire Bosch o2 sensor from autozone and plugged right into the harness and never had a check engine light.

Thanks guys, I'm sure one of the universal denso or Bosch sensors will work, just wanted a confirmation from someone who has used one. The oem number doesn't give me any cross reference for cars when I google it. Xb, if you do have the box for reference that would be awesome! Any other ideas guys.

I think I may have cross referenced it to a turbo mr2. I'm pretty sure any 4 wire o2 sensor that will plug in will work. I believe almost all of the 4 wire heated narrowband o2 sensors work the same!

I saw in another post by hasport that you can use one from a 3sge sw20 mr2. you will have to splice the plug from your 20v o2 sensor to the mr2 sensor for it to work
http://club4ag.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2191if you go to oreily auto parts they sell a universal oxygen sensor that doesnt have the plug. if you cut the connector from your 20v o2 sensor and splice it to this one you will have a o2 sensor here is the link about 50 bux or so

Buy an OBX 3sgte o2sensor for $60 on eBay. Go to the junk yard and snip the 4wire plugs(you need both ends) from any mid 90's Camry or other Toyota. Re-pin exactly as they are. Plug, play...

Bosch worked for me for a year then just died without warning. Maybe it was overwhelmed by the 20v's.

Does anyobdy know of if the stock 7AFE oxygen sensor will also suit the 4AGE Blacktop?

I think mine is 2-wired, but have to check that. I don;t have a OBD2 engine and only one oxygen sensor, so i think it's 2-wired. I think the OBD2 equipped angine had the 4-wire sensors already.

20v bt uses the same O2 as 8th gen corolla (98-02) and 94-95 4 runner with v6. I have the bosch sensor on my car now p/n 13051. Plugs and bolts up perfectly.

no problem, still have to adapt the 4AGE harness to the 7AFE harness, so this is just a little bit extra

Thing I don't like about them is 2 wires are same color. None of which match the harness. Good luck if its not assembled and/or labeled

Sorry but they are lables and there's a table to compare the wires with the OEM wires. Made a picture of it!
Then you check here:
http://www.padandwheels.com/mr2/blacktopproject/engharness/engharness.html. Then you check over here what colours should be matched. I think i can say this really is doable.

After all i have a 4-wired oxygen sensor already on my 7AFE. One of the difference with the US spec models i think. Never knew there where OBD-1 equipped 7AFE's that had 4-wired oxygen sensors.
Even my exhaust header is exactly the same size as the 20V one. Only the connection to the head is a bit different.
