GZE/GE Fuel Pump Issues

Hi all,
My motor is back in my engine after it's rebuild.
I have had it cranking and running by spraying carb cleaner into the intake, but i have no power to my fuel pump or oddly the oil pressure switch.
The fuel gauge is working, but this didn't before and I lost my dash lights, but they are now back.
The engine is 4AGZE, if my AFM flap is stuck in a closed position would this permantly keep the fuel pump from powering up? Is there anything I can test to see if it is the AFM?
The car is not in my garage any more it is at my engine builders' and neither of us are electrically minded, so could advice be stupid proof please
Many Thanks,
Alex
