Oil port?

Postby greghotz » Fri Nov 09, 2018 11:29 am

On the drivers side of the 4A block, just below the front freeze plug yhrre, are 2 ports in the block. One towards the front is the oil pressure sender port, the other has a plug in it. What is it for? If it is also a oil port I'd like to use it for oil temp. Any ideas?
thanks

Some blocks have just a plug in that drain port, and some (AW11 for one) have a fancy draincock that you can attach a small hose to help keep the coolant from spilling all over.
