Hi mates, a friend is just ending a BT 20v swap in his USDM 86, and have a question:

16v lamda sensors works in the black top 20v?

message morgan. he used to have a write up that showed what O2 sensor to use. all that was needed was to splice the O2 sensor to the 20v O2 plug. th writ up hasnt made it to the new forums yet :/

16v sensors do not work. Get an oxygen sensor from a N/A SW20 MR2. The 16v one is a single wire type, the MR2 one is a newer style that has four wires: signal, ground, heater power, heater ground control. You can get the universal MR2 one as well and just wire it up, either way.
