Am pretty new to the corolla scene, i feel stupid asking this question, but here it goes. i recently got my 16v blue top rebuild by one of my close friends, i want to put it back(am pretty new to this stuff), am just wondering if there are any good tutorials on how to install the clutch, i hear everywhere is pretty easy but for a newbie like myself its uncharted territory, thanks for those who can help me out!!!

Getting the clutch centered is the key to a successful gearbox install... and
don't let go of the gearbox until you have a couple of the top bolts in place.
Letting the weight of the gearbox hang on the input shaft is not a good idea.
Use a jack or blocks of wood to support the gearbox at the correct level if
you are working on your own.

Refer the the Toyota Factory Service Manual to get the correct torque values
for the flywheel and pressure plate bolts.

Two top tips that can save a World of aggro...

1: temporarily cable tie the clutch arm back so that it cannot move and dislodge the release bearing if the clutch arm hits the body when installing gearbox.
2: lift the front of the engine before installing the gearbox as the flywheel end will 'tip up' making lining up the gearbox / clutch really difficult.

If you can, get a transmission jack! I got to use one for the first time, and it was super helpful. It's on a threaded rod like a spare tire jack so you can adjust the height nice and slow. I just attached it to my cordless impact it made it a breeze. I still had to get the car pretty high to get it to roll out while still on the jack, its simple enough to figure out. Since it wasn't mentioned, drain the transmission oil before you pull the driveshaft or you'll have a big mess on your hands (and floor.)
