Jdm engine in GT-S

Hello i don't know if anybody ask this question before ..
If i bought a JDM 4AGE with harness + tranny did i need to change the dash harness too? or i can use the factory gts

save your money.... there isn't a difference between the US 4AGE and the JDM 4AGE... same compression, same power.... SOOOOO get the engine, and tranny, and use the GTS wiring... sell "JDM" wiring to make up some of the $$ spent....

Soo the jdm and usdm harness are the same?

no they are not. there are wiring mods needed to make it work in a usdm car.
since you are too lazy to google, so am I.

The engine is the same... the wiring is not. Use the JDM engine, with the USDM wiring... use ALL the USDM sensors.

Yeah I'd only use the engine (complete cylinder head and block). The oil pump, full water pump assembly, pulleys and alternator are ok to use.
Use basically everything else from your original GTS engine/chassis - swap over all your USDM peripherals to the JDM engine: distributor, coil/ignitor, afm/intake, intake manifold, header, ALL the hard water lines on the head, etc. As OST mentioned you'll keep the original GTS ecu, wiring loom/harness, and every sensor (some already mentioned).
