We don't use top colors on the 16 valves because no one can agree on them.
Use either gen 1, gen 2, gen 3 or use defining features such as 7 rib largeport or smallport.

Test the TPS per the FSM of the ECU you are using if it passes it will probably work. It's only really worth trying if you absolutely can't find a stock TPS but I can't imagine that should be hard.

I think the function is the same on all 16 valves but I am not positive. I am pretty sure there are at least two different connector styles just on the 16 valves.
To test them you will want to find a FSM (Factory Service Manual) for a smallport and then test it as instructed in the manual. If the Silvertop TPS tests correctly per the book then it should be okay but I really recommend not trying mods like this without a wideband to monitor the effects of the change.

The MAP sensor 89421-12020 with the round yellow plug is the
correct MAP sensor for a TVIS bigport engine. The smallport engine
uses a 89420-12040 sensor with a black plug straight onto the sensor
body. I would expect that either one could be used with the wiring
changed to suit.

The 16V TPS rotates in the opposite direction to the 20V TPS, so they
are not interchangeable.

Good catch. I should have thought of that considering I learned it while trying to get my BT running on my GZE ECU.

The bigport (TVIS) TPS is Toyota 89452-28010 with a rectangular plug.
It is the one on the left in this pic.

The smallport TPS is Toyota 89452-12050 with an oval plug. This one
is also listed as the Lexus TPS.
