Hi, I'm a biginner for 4age also the engine with injecter.
I'm trying to take air cleaner box off and put ram tubes direct on to the throttle body.
Engine won't start as soon as I open the air cleaner box.
Do I still over write the stock ecu with some sort of piggy back module?
Anyone help me,please. I'm on Gold Coast.

The stock ecu silver top needs the AFM in place to measure the amount of air entering the engine. By opening the air box un measured air enters the engine without the fuel needed to support combustion. You need a closed system from AFM to throttles or convert to a MAP set up.

Yeah you cannot do this on the silvertop ECU.
