vacuum ports for carburetor synchronizer?

Postby choyr » Thu Feb 05, 2015 7:50 am

Are there vacuum ports for each throttle that can be used for example a Motion Pro carb synchronizer? I just want to check my 4AGE 20V blacktop's intake.

There are no vacuum ports on the ITB's suitable for plugging in
your synchronizer. You would need to drill and tap a into the throats
somewhere. And as the throttles are "equalised" via the idle air
ports and the common vacuum rail, I doubt that the results would
be worth the effort. Better to use an airflow meter that plugs
into the mouth of the ITB...

Haha I'm literally using that very tool now to set my carbs on my 16v, it works a treat [emoji106]

Don't think it matters but mine are now pulling around 6 on the meter at idle
