dizzy cap help

Hey guys, I have some TRD spark plug wires for the largeport 4age from an AE86. I am currently building a smallport with smallport distributor. The trd wires do not work with the dizzy cap. I have tried to put on a largeport dizzy cap onto the smallport dizzy. It didnt work. Does anyone know of a cap that will screw onto the smallport dizzy and work with trd largeport wires?

try installing the largeport distributor on your smallport head.

The distributor you use to some degree depends on the ecu you are using, I'm not convinced the big port distributor will work with a smallport ecu as the pickups inside the distributor are different to the smallport distributor pickups.
As far as caps go I have tried AW11 and AE86, neither fit the smallport distributor so your best bet might be to get smallport leads (including the lead that goes to the coil, 5mm connector distributor to 8mm coil)

Yeah I cant use the largeport distributor because it is a jdm map ecu with dizzy. So im kind stuck there. I was hoping to be able to use these trd wires tho. Im sure theres a cap out there, just finding it will be a pita.
