how to install AFPR on 20V (BT)

Postby onnaj » Wed Jul 10, 2013 4:58 am

Hello,

I want to install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the 4AGE 20V Blacktop, mainly so i can check the actual fuel pressure, but i like to be able to adjust it.

I don't know how to exactly install it. I think the stock FPR falls in the hole of the fuel rail on one side and has a special oring. On the other side it has the fuel return hose attached and ofcourse the vacuum hose.

Someone has good tips how to best install it?

Thanks

I've ended up buying an adapter for the fuel rail.

The one one the picture is for the Honda i believe, the one from Toyota has a bigger tube (don't know the right word in english for this) where you put it in the fuel rail.

Maybe i'm going to fit it this afternoon, so i'll let you guys know if it'll work.

Thanks

FYI -> the adapter works. Had to adjust it a little bit to make more room for the screws.

Unfortunately is the AFPR i bought not working :( So kept it stock.

It's called the D1 Spec Fuel Pressure Regulator Adapter for Toyota. As mentioned you have to adapt it a little bit to make the screws fit the holes.

It costs about 13 dollar i think, here is the webaddress: http://www.fullcartuning.com/45359/D1-S ... or-Adapter

Or buy this one: http://www.ebay.nl/itm/Toyota-Corolla-M ... 1e7b92ca59

Think that one doesn't need to be adapted ;)

I don't have them in stock so either I ship them straight from my distributor or have to add the shipping cost getting them to me and then shipping them out to customers.
Unfortunately my distributor doesn't have a lot of shipping options and I could probably ship you 10 for the same cost as one.
That said I am still dialing in my shipping calculator on my website. What was the quote and where are you located?

I just recently found these and haven't sold one or tried one yet but yes they should be bolt on with no modification.

Oh my, lol. Thanks for the heads up.
I will try to play with the shipping settings tomorrow.
If you want you can send $32 via paypal to yoshimitsuspeed at matrixgarage.com with the part number and shipping addy.
Otherwise I'll post back up here after playing with my shipping settings.
