VVT pulley failure causes engine damage?

Postby tommy_t » Tue Jun 25, 2013 3:14 am

I read that people have been driving with the ticking Silvertop VVT pulley.

Supposedly, it will only effect performance as VVT will not work properly. Does this sound correct? It will take two to four months before my part gets here....

Thanks,

Please send me a pm. I can get the parts a lot sooner then that.

But if you want to wait... I don't think it's doing any harm at all. Just an annoying sound that's all.
