my question: is my ECU [part number :89661-2D880 ] can be replaced with other ECU such as 89661-1A470 comes with AE11X chassis, with any modes possible ?
I'm asking this because AT Ecu's are extremely rare to find and i need a backup ECU.
Regards.

Another option is the unscrew the ecu. Sometimes Toyota writes what's connected to the pins onto the ecu. Think i'd do that first and then compare them to other ecu's. The AT ecu's are mostly cheaper then the M/T ECU's and especially the 6-speed ecu.

I use google translate, speak English poorly.
I own a similar car (Carina at210 1997, AT=A246E) about 8 years. ECU are still working.
I can try to compare ECU pinouts on the configuration with automatic transmission (AT210/A246E and AE111)...
ECU (М/T) are on sale in Russia:
